Treatment Expectations:
Patient Forms
Upon entering our office you will be greeted and welcomed as a member of our chiropractic family. We will request you fill our patient forms. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition.
Consultation
Next you will have a consultation to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options. Your first visit is designed for us to learn more about you, your condition and your expectations to determine whether chiropractic care will you meet your goals.
Examination
After your consultation, We will perform a complete examination. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Radiology Studies
MRI, X-rays or other advanced imaging studies may be necessary depending on case history and physical exam findings.
Report of Findings
Once all the information and examinations have been performed, We will give you a report of findings to answer the three most popular questions:
- What do you recommend that I do to get better?
- How much is it going to cost?
Treatment
Patients will generally be provided with their first treatment at the conclusion of the Report of Findings. Treatment is interactive with you so you can express any concerns you have about the style of treatment.
Wellness Program
Prior to leaving, patients will be instructed on a wellness program to be conducted at home. If you desire an overall wellness lifestyle, we will work with you to create good habits and healthy routines to maximize success. The foundation of our overall wellness lifestyle is maintaining healthy posture and good spinal alignment, eating a healthy diet, taking supplements, keeping your weight under control and stress relief.
Payment options:
All co-payments can be collected prior to seeing the doctor or must be paid at the time of your appointment. We accept cash, check and credit cards ( VISA, Mastercard and AmEx).
Joplin Family Chiropractic has maintained a pricing structure that allows care for all budgets. Our office participates in most insurance programs. We also accept auto accident and workers compensation cases. For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged.
Insurance
Most insurance plans are accepted at our office. We accept auto accident, workers compensation, personal injury and most health insurance plans. We will explain your benefits before treatment, at no charge. Please confirm with your insurance company prior to your appointment that we are an approved office. For all HMO insurances a written referral may be needed by your PCP doctor or we may have to reschedule your appointment.
No Insurance/Individual & Family Plans
For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged. If you have no insurance or do not have chiropractic benefits there is still a way for you to receive the care you need. Many patients pay directly for care, as they discover chiropractic to be extremely cost-effective and affordable. We can create a customized family plan that is specific to you and your family.
